A man was arrested on Saturday, April 13 and faces charges including attempted murder for allegedly shooting a woman.
The Reno Police Department received a call around 6 a.m. Saturday morning for a report of a shooting near Kuenzli Street.
They say they found the woman who had been shot and she was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe there was a domestic dispute leading up to the alleged shooting.
Kevin Maples, 40 years old, was arrested.
He faces charges of attempted murder, battery, possession of a gun by a prohibited person, violating an order for protection against domestic violence, and failure to register with law enforcement as a convicted person.
