Nevada State Police honored a fallen sergeant and trooper on Monday.
They unveiled two memorial signs created by the Nevada Department of Transportation.
Sergeant Michael Abbate and Trooper Alberto Felix were killed in the line of duty last year after being hit by a drunk driver.
The sign for Trooper Felix will be near Craig Road and Nellis Air Force Base to honor his service in the air force.
Sergeant Abbate's sign will be placed near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway because he enjoyed racing cars and worked as an emergency vehicle driving instructor.
