Israeli voters have delivered a setback to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's far-right coalition, with exit polls suggesting no clear winner in the election. Netanyahu's opponents appear to have a majority in the next parliament, but forming a coalition could take weeks even if the disparate parties — which include both Arab-led factions and parties that have said they won't partner with them — can reach a deal. Netanyahu remains defiant, dismissing partnerships with Arab parties as treasonous. The close results indicate challenges in unseating him despite public anger over recent conflicts. Both Netanyahu and his opponent, Gadi Eisenkot, are claiming victory, setting the stage for political maneuvering. If no coalition forms, another election might be necessary.
