Trump will also defend immigration crackdowns and efforts to shrink the federal government. When his full speech begins, Trump is expected to criticize a Supreme Court ruling blocking his sweeping global tariff policies. He also plans to highlight quick military actions abroad, including Iran and Venezuela. Democrats plan a rebuttal and some party members are skipping the speech.
