A Canadian provincial premier has called a snap election, saying U.S. President Donald Trump’s attacks on Canada are threatening jobs, businesses and the country’s ability to determine its own future. British Columbia Premier David Eby says Trump’s trade war and threats against Canada have changed the circumstances facing British Columbia enough to justify an election two years ahead of schedule.
