Some residents in southwest Texas are being urged to evacuate during severe downpours. Multiple flash-flood warnings have been issued for the area. Communities along the Guadalupe River are particularly affected, with reports of people on roofs in Kerr County. The National Weather Service in San Antonio warns of catastrophic flooding, urging people to move to higher ground. Over 40 rescues have been conducted, mostly in Uvalde County. More than a foot of rain has fallen, with some areas receiving up to 16 inches. Flood watches remain in effect, and Texas Governor Greg Abbott has issued disaster declarations for multiple counties.
