The men in charge of the agencies carrying out President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda will be asked Tuesday to explain their immigration enforcement practices. Acting ICE director Todd Lyons, Customs and Border Protection commissioner Rodney Scott and Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Joseph Edlow are appearing before the House Committee on Homeland Security. Public support for their agencies has plunged but they're flush with cash from Trump's big tax and spending bill. Democrats are threatening to shut down their department if agents don't follow the law and the Constitution following killings in the streets and expanding detentions.
