American and Israeli strikes are pounding Iran while the Islamic Republic attacks Persian Gulf shipping and energy infrastructure, nearly two weeks into the widening war. U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday that the conflict would end “when I feel it in my bones.” In the heart of Iran's capital, a large explosion struck near a site where thousands of Iranians had gathered for an annual state-organized rally backing Palestinians. Meanwhile, Iran has effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz, sharply reducing energy supplies and threatening to destabilize economies. Brent crude is hovering at around $100 a barrel.
