Ratko Mladic, the Bosnian Serb general responsible for atrocities in Bosnia during the 1990s, has died in prison at age 84. Serbian state RTS television and official Bosnian Serb television reported his death. They said Mladic died in a U.N. prison hospital in The Hague. A family member confirmed the reports, saying Mladic’s son, Darko Mladic, was on the way to The Hague. The court told the AP in a statement that they could not immediately confirm Mladic’s death.
