Harvey Weinstein’s defense has urged jurors to put an end to a #MeToo-era rape case that has gone to trial three times. But prosecutors on Tuesday vied to restore a onetime conviction that got unwound. Weinstein watched quietly as the two sides made their closing arguments about whether he raped hairstylist and actor Jessica Mann in a New York hotel in March 2013. Weinstein's lawyers say the encounter was consensual. Jurors are expected to begin deliberations on Wednesday. The former Hollywood honcho has been imprisoned on various sex crime convictions since 2020.
