In a statement on Friday TikTok said it would stop more than 170 million Americans from accessing the app on Sunday unless President Biden takes action.
TikTok wants the Biden administration to act quickly to assure the company it will not be punished for violating the terms of its looming ban, according to reporting from CNN.
The Supreme Court upheld a ban on Friday.
The bill, signed into law by President Biden in April, requires TikTok to sell to American buyers by Sunday or be banned nationwide.
The Biden administration has indicated it will leave enforcement of the ban to President-elect Donald Trump, who will be inaugurated on Monday, but TikTok says that isn't enough.
