A jury has been selected in the trial against the man charged in the 1996 killing of rapper Tupac Shakur. Duane “Keffe D” Davis is the first person to be charged in connection to the drive-by shooting in Las Vegas nearly 30 years ago. Jurors were selected Thursday. Attorneys spent four days selecting the 16 jurors, asking to what extent they knew the rapper or heard about the case. Prosecutors allege Davis was the “shot caller” who orchestrating the shooting. Davis has pleaded not guilty and could be sentenced to life in prison if he’s convicted. Opening statements are expected to begin Monday.
