Locals near the Reno-Tahoe International Airport may hear various sirens, tones, and flying operations as the Nevada Air National Guard conducts readiness exercises this week.
The exercises will last from now until May 5.
The Nevada Air National Guard says the exercise is designed to evaluate and ensure mission readiness in support of worldwide deployment.
There will also be increased C-130 flying operations in the local area.
