Reno city officials held a ribbon-cutting Thursday for upgrades made to the historic California Building at Idlewild Park.
Construction crews have been renovating the building at 75 Cowan Drive since last September.
The renovations focused on improvements to the interior and exterior of the building, including upgrades to the kitchen and restrooms, office renovations, new flooring, repainting, and exterior concrete patio improvements.
The project cost approximately $900,000 and was funded through the Economic Development Initiative Community Project Funding Grant.
