Officials in Mineral County are investigating an incident that happened on U.S. 95 earlier today.
The incident occurred around 12:00 noon on March 28, around mile marker 37 of U.S. 95 in Mineral County.
According to Nevada State Police, a commercial vehicle with a flatbed trailer was traveling southbound on the highway when a bracket broke off of the trailer.
The bracket ended up going through the windshield of an SUV driving on the northbound side of the highway, killing the driver.
The identification of the victim has not been shared at this time.
There were no road closures as a result of the incident.
