The Reno Fire Department took to social media to share some pet safety tips for the holidays.
We all know that dogs and cats like to get into everything, but there are some things you should keep them away from during the festivities this year.
Here is a list of things to keep from your pets:
- Yeasty bread
- Chocolate
- Xylitol (a sugar free sweetener)
- Grapes and raisins
- Onions
- Eggnog
- Nutmeg
- Turkey bones
- Plants like holly and mistletoe
- Christmas tree water
- Tinsel
- Lights and candles
