The Reno Police Department conducted pedestrian and school zone safety operations throughout the month of April.
From April 1 to April 30, nine officers focused on active school zone enforcement.Â
Schools were chosen based on input from citizens about unsafe driving within school zones.
During the month, officers issues 134 citations and gave 35 warnings.
