The Reno Rodeo will hold a kick-off concert on Wednesday night in the outdoor arena, one night before the annual rodeo starts.

This year's 7 p.m. concert will feature Russell Dickerson and Priscilla Block.

A new piece of this year's rodeo will be viewing parties that do not require a rodeo ticket to attend.

People will be able to pay the $10 grounds fee and watch the rodeo on a big screen in the indoor arena.

Also, this year there will be two rodeo clowns instead of one.

Parking is $20 but there is also a shuttle service which will take people from the GSR to the rodeo and back.

If you only plan to attend the events before the rodeo, parking will be refunded if you leave before 3 p.m.

As a reminder, there are traffic changes near the Livestock Events Center until June 30th.

The Reno Rodeo is also enforcing a clear bag policy.

The 105th annual event is open from June 20 through June 29, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

Grandstand tickets are already sold out.

It costs $10 to enter the rodeo grounds, which includes entry to the carnival. Wristbands cost $32. The carnival opens every weekday at 4 p.m. but it opens at noon on Saturday and Sunday.
