The City of Sparks announced that a section of Sullivan Lane will be closed during Mother's Day on Sunday, May 12.
The road closure is due to the Moms on the Run event happening that day.
For safety, the road will be closed from 7 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. from Green Vista Drive to El Rancho Drive.
Participants are asked to enter through McCarran Boulevard and park at Hug High School. Parking attendants will be available to direct drivers until 8 a.m.
