According to updated court documents, the two men that were arrested in connection with the GSR shooting have changed their plea to no contest after pleading not guilty on October 10, 2024.
Both men are facing charges of Second-Degree Murder and Deadly Weapon Enhancement, and are now set for sentencing on January 8, 2026, according to court documents.

We're learning new details about the shooting at the Grand Sierra Resort last week.
According to court documents, the two suspects who had been identified as 26-year-old Seth Hegne and 32-year-old Colton Fagundes conspired to kill 32-year-old Conor Housden.
The documents say police found Housden shot four times in a room at the Grand Sierra Resort just before 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The documents said Fagundes had been staying at the hotel room in the days leading up to the shooting, and had allegedly been drinking and doing cocaine and methamphetamine.
The documents said Fagundes had been acting erratically on the night before the shooting but then left the GSR around 5:30 a.m. before returning about half an hour later with Hegne to commit the shooting.
Update February 3, 10:00 a.m.:
A second suspect has been arrested and charged with open murder in relation to the shooting at Grand Sierra Resort last week.
26-year-old Seth Hegne is now in custody.

Update February 2, 5:00 p.m.:
The victim in Tuesday's shooting at the Grand Sierra Resort has been identified as 32-year-old Conor Housden of Reno.
Reno Police are still investigating the incident, but arrested 32-year-old Colton Fagundes Thursday in connection to the fatal shooting. He is pictured below:

Secret Witness is offering a $5,000 reward for information on Tuesday's deadly shooting at the Grand Sierra Resort.Â
When police arrived on scene, around 6:15 a.m., they found one man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Casino security and officers attempted lifesaving efforts, but were unsuccessful. The man died on scene.Â
There is no apparent danger to the general public. Police believe the people involved in the shooting know each other.
The investigation is ongoing.Â

Reno Police detectives are investigating after an 'active incident' at the Grand Sierra Resort early Tuesday morning.Â
Police say they got the initial call around 6:15 a.m. on one of the room floors, not casino floor.Â
Police say there's no active threat to community at this time.Â

Grand Sierra Resort released this statement to 2 News Nevada:Â
"On Tuesday, January 30, at 6:15 a.m. Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) notified the Reno Police Department (RPD) of an incident in a guest’s room at the hotel. RPD responded immediately and is currently investigating. As RPD reported, there is no danger to the public. We are grateful for the quick and professional response from emergency responders and for our security team members who assisted. GSR is providing security camera footage to aid in RPD’s investigation."
RPD is currently on scene of an active incident at the Grand Sierra Resort. There is no active threat to community at this time. Additional details will be released when possible or as necessary.
