Lockwood Crash

A semi-truck crash has closed a portion of I-80 west near Lockwood east of Sparks. 

Nevada State Police troopers say the crash happened around noon on Monday. 

NSP says the semi-truck was heading east when it somehow went through the guardrails. 

The driver was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Emergency crews also cleaned up a fuel spill that covered a section of the roadway.

There's no immediate word on when the crash site will be cleared and the roadway fully reopened.Â
