The Carson City Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding a suspect in an assault with a deadly weapon.

It happened during an alleged road rage incident on Retail Drive in Carson City on the morning of March 21st.

According to a Sheriff's Office release the victim was leaving a parking lot, turning onto Retail Drive when the suspect, driving a silver four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan, turned onto the road from the Walmart parking lot on Market Street.

The driver of that car allegedly became upset and followed the victim to the southbound on-ramp to I-580, speeding around them and forcing her off the roadway.

The suspect allegedly pulled in front of the victim and slammed on his brakes, pulling out a pistol and pointing it at the victim two separate times.

Surveillance video from Walmart shows the suspect leaving the store before the incident.

He is described as a white man with light short hair and a medium height and build. He was wearing a yellow jacket over a gray collared shirt with dark pants and red and white shoes.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Carson City Sheriff's Office Patrol Division, Deputy Derrick Kepler at (775) 283-7857, dispatch at (775) 887-2007, or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
