The 26th Annual Barracuda Championship, this area's only PGA event, is set for July 15th through the 21st, at Tahoe Mountain Club's Old Greenwood Golf Course.
Tickets for the event go on Sale Tuesday, April 16th.Â
This event, along with the DP World Tour, is the only one of its kind in the Tahoe/Truckee and northern Nevada area.
The event kicks off with Junior Golf Day, pro-ams and practice days for the players, as well as several community events.Â
Tournament play begins Thursday, July 18th.
This year, the Barracuda Championship is changing things by flipping the nines during the tournament week, which will raise the stakes of competition by having two par fives on the back nine and a drivable hole 17, which provides some excitement over the tournaments closing four holes. Â
