The Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation shared photos on Monday of a burglary that occurred early Monday morning.
The group said that they are looking at around five thousand dollars in damages from the break in.
Some of the items that were stolen were a part of their spring break program.
The timing of the burglary comes less than two weeks from the foundation's spring break camp. Despite the bad timing, the executive director still plans on hosting the camp for those that are attending.
As of now, it is unclear how many people burglarized the property as there are no cameras set up at the office.
The thieves broke in through one of the windows and they were able to steal a large TV, sports equipment, important mail, and they even broke multiple items.
Although the foundation is able to work through this issue, Heidi Anderson said that community support would be greatly appreciated.
"We are a nonprofit organization who relies on community support to put on our programs, so any support that the community can give to help us get those supplies back for camp is just tremendously helpful and we will ensure that the kids get the kind of camp that they need," said Heidi Anderson, executive director for Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation.
