The 3rd annual VFW Fall Music Festival and Silent Auction got underway Saturday morning in the VFW Parking Lot near Moana and Baker Lanes.
The event started at 11 a.m. and will continue until sunset, featuring live music and a silent auction with more than 70 donated items.
There are also raffles, with a grand raffle prize of a Pitt Boss Wood Pellet BBQ Grill with cover and accessories valued at $700 and a 50/50 raffle starting at $500 with a donation from Winnemucca Lock & Safe.
VFW Officers will be fixing plates of BBQ which will be available for $10.
All money raised benefits local and sometimes out of state Veterans and their families, community outreach and VFW facilities improvements.
