Two pairs of siblings got to ride to school in style, and grab a little something for their sweet tooth courtesy of Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam.

Sheriff Balaam took the kids to school in a Washoe County Sheriff's Office patrol car and even swung by Doughboys Donuts beforehand to treat them all to their choice of donuts before dropping them off.

In a post on their X page the WCSO says they and the sheriff "cherish this annual school tradition, which allows us to witness the delight and happiness of these students."

They say it reminds them why they serve the community and also of their commitment to positively impacting the lives of the people they serve.
