Egyptian authorities say at least four people were killed and 88 others were injured when a train traveling between Giza and Fayoum collided with another train traveling from Cairo to Aswan. The collision occurred in al-Ayyat district in Giza province, causing one train to derail. Emergency teams and cranes were dispatched to clear the wreckage and restore train services. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Last September, a train driver and his assistant were injured after two freight trains collided in the same district.
