The Israeli military has carried out a massive operation in the occupied West Bank, displacing hundreds of Palestinians. This move follows a gun attack in Hebron on Friday that killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded three others. As Israel approaches a tense election, the military has placed major restrictions on Palestinian movement. On Sunday, they announced that most Palestinian workers with permits would not be allowed into Israeli settlements for work. The military claims to have operated in over 400 locations over the weekend, arresting 40 Palestinians linked to Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The operation has displaced hundreds of families.
