A year after Israeli strikes on a Gaza hospital killed 22 Palestinians, there are still major questions about the rationale for the attack. Journalists and rescue workers were killed. Among them were Reuters cameraman Hussam al-Masri and Mariam Dagga, a visual journalist who worked for The Associated Press and other news organizations. Israel said it targeted a camera used by Hamas, and that six of those killed were linked to the militant group. But the military has shown no Hamas link to the camera, which belonged to al-Masri, and has provided no evidence that anyone killed was a militant.
