The Nevada Highway Patrol has released the name of the motorcyclist who died after a crash on Kingsbury Grade and Foothill Road in Gardnerville on Saturday.
The preliminary investigation shows a 2003 Harley Davidson was traveling north on SR-207 when the rider, 62-year-old Kurt Kelso of Springfield, Oregon went off the roadway and hit a dirt mound.
Kelso was thrown from the motorcycle, after the 1 p.m. crash.Â
He later died at an area hospital.Â
