Nevada Highway Patrol has released more details on a multi-motorcycle crash that killed a California man on Kingsbury Grade near Palisades Drive last Thursday afternoon.
NHP says a burgundy 1994 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading east on SR 207 and entered a right hairpin curve. Traveling in the opposite direction were two motorcycles: a red 2016 Harley Davidson and a blue 2010 Harley-Davidson. Troopers say the burgundy Harley-Davidson veered left, crossing the
double yellow centerline, and entered the westbound travel lane wrong-way and directly in the paths of the two oncoming motorcycles.
NHP says the burgundy Harley-Davidson struck the red Harley-Davidson head-on and was subsequently struck by the blue Harley-Davidson.
NHP says 71-year-old Paul Bartell of Jackson, was thrown from the burgundy motorcycle and died on scene.
