UPDATE: The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) released new details on a fatal crash that happened on Wednesday on US-50 near Highlands Drive in Mound House.
Officials said around 3:42 p.m., a preliminary investigation shows a green 1999 Honda CR-V and a red 2011 Subaru Legacy were going eastbound on US-50, when the Legacy slowed to make a right turn onto Highlands Drive.
