The Pet of the week for January 1 is Lucy!

Lucy is 15-years-old, and has been at the SPCA of Northern Nevada for about two years.

This low energy cat likes attention, and also likes her solitude. But she's definitely not a scaredy-cat.

If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.

Lucy does have some special needs.

She diabetic and will be on life-long medication, as well as a special diet with regular checks at the veterinarian. 

Insulin will be paid for, so it won't be any cost to the adopter.

All she needs in two shots of insulin everyday.
