Plumas County Sheriff's Deputies Investigate Body Found Near Quincy

The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a body that was found Quincy on Thursday. 

Sheriff’s Deputies say the remains of an unidentified male was found in an area between downtown Quincy and Plumas District Hospital off Bucks Lake Road. 

Deputies say no foul play is suspected in this incident. 

Sheriff’s Detectives along with a forensic team from the California Department of Justice Bureau of Forensic Science responded to the area.Â
