UPDATE:

Two employees at Bertha Miranda's Mexican Restaurant have purchased the business and will continue operations as Bertha Miranda's.

Bertha Miranda's Mexican Food & Cantina, a long-time popular Mexican restaurant in Reno is for sale. 

The restaurant which has been locally owned and family operated since 1984 was recently posted for sale on the Northern Nevada Multiple Listing Service for a price of $3 million.

Miranda, who will turning 80 next year and is battling health issues said that it was time for her to retire. 

If the building were to be sold, the buyer would own the business name (Bertha Miranda's Mexican Food & Cantina), all fixtures, furnishings, and equipment currently used for the operation of the restaurant.
