Reno Police say eastbound and westbound traffic on W. 7th St. is closed at Barry M Circle and Rhode Island Drive.
Charter Communications is currently on scene trying to fix the fiber optic line that is hanging over the road.
The roadway should be closed until approximately 8:00 P.M. tonight.
Police say use alternative route and avoid the area until the issue is resolved.
