Reno Aces Offering Employment Opportunities for 2014 Season

The Reno Aces start the 2014 season with an eight-game homestand that begins Thursday night and features new Manager Phil Nevin's Aces debut and two giveaways with the Opening Day festivities.

Thursday, April 3 (Opening Day)

* Reno Aces v. El Paso Chihuahuas, 6:35 p.m.

* Claire Champlin of "The Amazing Race"and Benjamin "Coach" Wade of "Survivor" will be at the park to sign autographs.

* Champlin and Wade will be joined by Reno Mayor Bob Cashell and Sparks Mayor Gino Martini in delivering the ceremonial first pitches.

* The Reno Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the national anthem.

* Magnet Schedule giveaway (9,000 fans).

* The Great Reno Balloon Race and Hot August Nights will have displays in front of the park.

* Harrah's show girls on hand for photos and to accompany the Aces starting lineup onto the field.

* Phil Nevin's weather guarantee – If the temperature is not at least 60 degrees at first pitch, Aces Manager Phil Nevin will buy every fan in attendance a ticket to a future game other than July 4.

* Coors Light Thirsty Thursdayâ„¢ presented by ESPN Radio 94.5 FM and the Reno News & Review. Fans can enjoy $2 beer specials through the middle of the fifth inning, and a new Thursday tradition, Adults run the Bases post-game.

Friday, April 4

* Reno Aces v. El Paso Chihuahuas, 6:35 p.m.

* Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday

* Heroes Night presented by Country Financial, which features a pre-game ceremony to honor heroes from around the Northern Nevada community.

Saturday, April 5

* Reno Aces v. El Paso Chihuahuas, 6:35 p.m.

* Blankets with sleeves giveaway (2,000 fans).

Sunday, April 6

* Reno Aces v. El Paso Chihuahuas, 1:05 p.m.

* Kids Eat Free Sunday presented by Sam's Club, Kimmie Candy and 106.9 MORE FM. 500 fans 12 and under will receive a free hot dog, bag of candy and small soda.

Monday, April 7

* Reno Aces v. Albuquerque Isotopes, 6:35 p.m.

* Night presented by the Reno News & Review. Fans rewarded based on how many Monday games they come to this season.

* Special Monday night beer and food discounts available in the Freight House District throughout the evening.

Tuesday, April 8

* Reno Aces v. Albuquerque Isotopes, 1:05 p.m.

* 2-for$22 Tuesday presented by KTVN Channel 2 News.

Wednesday, April 9

* Reno Aces v. Albuquerque Isotopes, 6:35 p.m.

* $1 hot dogs.

* Winning Wednesday presented by KTVN Channel 2 News: If the Aces win on a Wednesday, fans in attendance will receive a free general admission ticket to the next Wednesday home game.

Thursday, April 10
