In a email sent to all city employees this morning, the city of Reno announced that they plan to have all city employees vaccinated against Covid once the US Food And Drug Administration (FDA)approves the Moderna Vaccine.Â
The city has taken various steps to ensure the public’s safety and health are protected during the pandemic which included that all new city employees hired on September 2 or after that date will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
The city also recommend that city employees wear N95 masks to stay safe but was was intended to be an interim measure, not a permanent solution.Â
