Reno Urban Farm Looking for a New Home

Lost City Farm has grown into an urban community garden since the their acre plot at 512 Center Street was leased in 2012 but now they will be looking for a new home.

In a statement on their website, founds of Lost city Farm, Toni and Lyndsey, wrote that "with a heavy heart" they are unable to renew the lease at their current location. While they say the growth in our local economy is "great for many reasons" the rising land rates won't allow them to renew their lease and the farm's current plot "will be sold sooner than later" likely due to its ideal Midtown location.

Lost City Farm says they will not be closing, rather they are looking for a new place to call home. Ideally the new property would be a half-acre or larger, have a fence, water, and possibly power, they say, but most importantly they'd like to be near the city center and remain an urban farm.
