Reno Woman Sentenced to Prison in Felony Elder Abuse Case

Kaylynn Marie Ott

The Washoe County District Attorney's office says a Reno woman was sentenced to prison last week after pleading guilty to battery on an elderly person and elderly abuse.

27-year-old Kaylynn Marie Ott of Reno was sentenced to 16 and a half years in prison last Friday.

Prosecutors say she attacked her 84-year-old grandmother, and bit off a piece of her arm back in February after the grandmother had threatened to tell her father she had been drinking.

Ott will be eligible of parole in five years.
