A habitual criminal has been sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison after his sixth felony conviction.
In October of 2025, Reno Police noticed a car that had been reported stolen at a local convenience store. Moises Mancillas was in the driver’s seat.
When the officers tried to block the car in, Mancillas rammed into the patrol car and took off.
Officers had to stop their pursuit due to safety concerns. Later, officers with the Regional Gang Unit found the car abandoned.
Two days later, police tracked down Mancillas and arrested him.Â
