Renown Health says they are teaming up with the City of Reno to keep local children active and healthy this summer with free swim days.
“We want to make our community healthier, but we can’t do it alone. This is a great example of how our community is coming together to inspire better health,” said Wendy Damonte, vice president of Advocacy and Community Partnership at Renown Health. “Thanks to this partnership with the City of Reno and City of Sparks Parks and Recreation Departments, more than 2,500 children in the Truckee Meadows will have access to free swimming over the next few weeks.”
The City of Reno will have their free swim week:
Monday, July 23 – Friday, July 27
Traner Pool: 12 – 6 p.m.
1600 Carville Dr., Reno
Idlewild Pool: 1 – 3:30 p.m.
1805 Idlewild Dr., Reno
Pick up free swim passes at any City of Reno pool. First come, first served and limited to six passes per person.
