Authorities say they have arrested a 63-year-old man on a first degree arson charge after a fire broke out at his apartment on Tripp Drive Tuesday.
Reno firefighters say a neighbor saw Robert Bohac leave during the fire and followed him until police were able to detain him.
They say Bohac is known to the fire department and has been involved in previous incidents at the apartment in the past.
The fire broke out around 8 a.m., and was put out before it extended to other units.
Bohac is being held on $15,000 cash bail at the Washoe County Jail.
