The Nevada Highway Patrol says road construction starts Tuesday on Interstate 80 eastbound from Boomtown to Mogul.
One lane will be closed and speed reduced to 55 miles per hour.
The construction will continue through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Roadwork starts back up the following Monday, and should be completed by next Friday.
On Wednesday, crews will also begin construction at I-80 eastbound from Derby Dam to Wadsworth. One lane will be closed there, with speed reduced to 55 miles per hour. Crews will be there from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Nevada Highway Patrol says the construction there should be completed Thursday.
