The Mono County Sheriff's Office says a wildfire that broke out near Bridgeport on Monday night is now contained. 

The Hwy 182 fire started Monday evening about 8-10 miles north of Bridgeport near Murphy Pond.

It is currently estimated up to 20 acres in size, burning in pinyon and juniper.

The wildfire is under investigation and there's no immediate word on if any buildings are threatened.
