If you drove on Interstate 580 through south Reno on Monday morning, chances are you got stuck in a nasty traffic jam. Two dump trucks crashed on the interstate near Damonte Ranch Parkway, closing all but the right lane in both directions of I-580.

A crash involving injury is blocking lanes on eastbound Damonte Ranch Parkway near I-580 northbound on Tuesday evening.

Nevada State Police are reporting an injury crash in south Reno.

A crash in the area of I-580 southbound and Damonte Ranch Parkway sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries Tuesday night.

Local Law Enforcement is asking for the community to help support Special Olympics by either dining in at Texas Roadhouse on Damonte Ranch Parkway or placing online orders. 

Residents in the Damonte Ranch area are going to have to prepare for some construction on Steamboat Parkway.
