Two Local Law Enforcement agencies join forces tonight in support of the annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser event that benefits the Special Olympics.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office and The Reno Police Department alongside local Special Olympic athletes are putting their server skills to the test on Wednesday, July 31 as they volunteer with wait staff to help gather tips and donations while delivering their best quality customer service.

The event is being held tonight at the South Reno Texas Roadhouse located at 150 Damonte Ranch Parkway from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

100 percent of "any" tips or donations received will be given to the Special Olympics.

The Reno Police and Washoe Sheriffs are asking the community to help support the Special Olympics by either dining in or ordering online.

A table will be set up at the front of the restaurant to collect any donations.

Texas Roadhouse will give anyone who donates to the Special Olympics tonight a free app card, as a way of saying thank you for the support.

Call ahead seating is also available by calling (775) 852-6333.
