NV Energy is reporting more than 1,300 customers are currently without power near Spanish Springs.

There is a current power outage that's affecting west Reno residents.

Additional outages are possible throughout northern Nevada as the high winds are expected to continue throughout the day. 

The Reno Fire Department, with partners, are promoting National Fire Prevention Week.

Analysts expected sales to fall slightly to 456,000, even with a boost from customers seeking to use the electric vehicle incentive.
