NV Energy says they are working with fire officials to evaluate re-energizing power for customers affected by shut offs associated with the Bug and Stallion fires.

Power has been restored to nearly 3,000 people who suffered an outage just before 8 p.m. on Friday.

More than 1,200 people in northwest Reno will be affected by a planned power outage early Wednesday morning.

NV Energy says Thursday night's massive power outage across Reno was caused by a de-energized transmission line. 

NV Energy is reporting that a series of power outages affecting more than 5,000 people across Washoe County has largely been resolved.

More than 90 customers in northwest Reno remain without power hours later after an outage started just before 9:30 a.m. 

NV Energy is now reporting 150 customers without power across Washoe County. Just hours earlier nearly 70,000 customers were affected.

Power has been restored to all NV Energy customers affected by a PSOM outage due to high winds, according to a release from the power company.

There is a current power outage that's affecting west Reno residents.
