Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Congresswoman Dina Titus says it's not a stretch to say democracy is on the line in 2024.

The committee also voted 9-0 to approve its final report, which will include findings, interview transcripts and legislative recommendations.

The committee also issued subpoenas this week to Rudy Giuliani and other members of Trump’s legal team who filed bogus legal challenges to the election.

The panel is trying to combat a growing effort from Donald Trump and many of his GOP allies to downplay the attack by his supporters.

The House committee has said the records are vital to its investigation into the run-up to the riot aimed at overturning the results of the election.
